Our Story
ABC acres, much like the animals and plants that reside on the farm, is itself a living and breathing entity. ABC acres, though in its infancy, has taken almost 20 years to get to this point. Tim and Sarah, owners of ABC acres, have been on this journey for those many years… growing as people, defining what it means to be healthy, and developing a regenerative approach to farming and family.
Pan forward seven years, and ABC acres has a collective of animals on pasture, food forests planted, and landscape earthwork projects implemented. They offer on-farm vacation stays referred to as Farm Stays, as well as offer Guided Farm Tours, Livestock Feedings, Nature Observation Walks, Workshops, and a new Farm Stand offering fresh meat and veg produced right from the farm.
Continuing through and beyond 2019, ABC acres will focus on creating the farm as a destination for both local and out-of-towners alike. Offering two well-appointed rental homes, abundant on-farm walking trails complete with educational kiosks highlighting numerous Permaculture earthwork projects and local wildlife information, as well as a fully stocked Farm Stand with seasonal food options, ABC acres is creating a unique agriculture experience to be enjoyed by the whole family. Instead of your typical vacation, come to ABC acres to experience a Montana farm stay in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley.
For those that have visited the farm these past few years, they can attest to the big things happening on the farm. If ever in the Hamilton area, be sure to give us a shout and make time to stop by ABC acres to look for yourself and say “hello”.
