1 August 2016:
Greetings neighbors and friends!
We have a 4-acre spread outside of Charleston, WV raising various heritage breed chickens.
As two veterans, working to provide a service that values protection (of the flock) and produce (eggs) is a win-win. We hope you’ll find something interesting in our chickens, we certainly do!
19 October 2017:
We are managing Black Copper Marans and Mottled Javas this season.
Our Ameraucanas and Black Copper Marans were the original flock members, selected for their temperament and uniquely colored eggs.
The Alma Acres’ birds are raised from chicks, free-ranged, and provided with organic feed, like our own vegetable garden to produce a healthy, tastier egg.
