Our Story
Bolinger Family Farm is a 80 acre farm located 1.5 miles north of North Manchester. The farm has been in the family for over 50 years and currently is focused on raising livestock to feed our family and our local community. Our primary product for retail is beef but we also have lamb, pork, eggs, and maple syrup.
The cattle we raise are primarily purebred shorthorn as well as shorthorn influenced British crosses. Our cattle are rotationally grazed throughout the growing season to promote improved soil qualities as well as improved vegetation. The sheep we raise are all cheviots which are a multi use breed where they are used for both wool and meat production. They are grazed in a similar manner as our cattle. Our pigs we source locally as young weaned pigs and we finish on our farm. Our chickens are free range and produce varying shades of brown eggs. The maple sap is collected from trees on our farm and then boiled into syrup at a local producer’s farm.
