Our Story

We decided to Homestead and raise Katahdin Sheep on our 15.5 acre Hobby farm in New Kent County, Va. Our Katahdin sheep are hair sheep, no wool to have to shear and pasture grazers which help cutting the grass. The plan is to breed them and for meat. We also raise Black Austrlorp chicken for eggs, Khaki Campbell, Pekin Ducks for eggs/meat and to help maintain the garden, great help! We also raise Cornish hens in the spring for meat. Our chicken and ducks are all free ranged and pastured raised! Guardian dogs we chose for our farm is the Great Pyrenees, We have three, Love them! We manage all of our animals with Range manger software, great tool, easy to use!Thank you for visiting and god bless,Tom & Dawn Bolt
