Our Story

Welcome to Buena Vista Farms!

We are a small family farm working our hardest to bring farm fresh eggs to our local community. We also raise a small flock of sheep and goats. All our animals are free range and pasture raised. If you come to the farm, you might also see our barn bunny or our 3 rescued horses and all of our other rescues.

All our animals have seven acres to roam and play which they can do almost 24/7. So much of their nutrition comes from nature that extra feed is minimal; therefore, our eggs can contain as much as 1/3 less cholesterol,1/4 less saturated fat, 2/3 more vitamin A, 2 times more omega-3 fatty acids, 3 times more vitamin E, and 7 times more beta carotene as regular eggs bought from the supermarket.

Our eggs are collected at least twice a day which improves the sanitary condition of the eggs and are hand washed and dried to keep the natural “bloom” intact and are placed point side down to keep them fresher.

Our eggs come in a kaleidoscope of natural colors ranging from chocolate brown, blue, green, pink, speckled to white. The yolks are so full of nutrients they have are orange in color and they don’t run like store bought eggs. Beware though because the shells have so much calcium that they might be harder to crack.
