Our Story
At Cidercrossing we free range our flock of hens through our fields and orchard. The hens get to enjoy a good life and diet of what they forage supplemented with organic feed, cracked corn and oyster shells. The fields and orchard benefit from the scratching and fertilizing of the hens. Our flock is a mixture of heritage dual purpose (Specklek Sussex, Wyandotte, Australorp, Ameraucana, Light Brahma, Buckeye) and commercial layers.
In our orchard we grow a mixture of US and European hard cider varieties.
From spring to fall, we sell produce grown in the garden at our farmstand. Eggs are sold year round.
We are very fortunate to live in a community highly appreciative of locally produced food.
