Our Story
We have been farming in North Carolina on leased land since 2015, in January 2020 we purchased our own place. We are a small farm raising Dexter cattle, sheep and chickens on pasture. We move them around the farm to reclaim pasture that has not been in use for several years. Our goats and Tamworth pigs are clearing the brush and briers to bring those areas back into use. We value the land and wish to honor it by making it as healthy as we can by increasing the soil life, not using any pesticides or herbicides and moving our animals to fertilize the land. Although we are not certified organic, we follow the standards. We sell meat and eggs at the Western Wake Farmer Market on Saturdays year round.
