When I was 11 or 12 I bought my first chickens on the farm. They were just for me, to look at and to feed, but then one day I had this great idea, what if I sold eggs? Well of course as a kid I figured thats a stupid idea, I’d never make money. Beginning last year I started selling eggs at our house, and now a year later I’m sixteen and my mother and I have a few steady customers and people that stop when just passing by. For my next year I plan on buying my own incubator and possibly expanding the business just a little. As a kid I always wanted to work on a farm, this is probably because I grew up on a dormant one. Our chickens have their own barn, The Chicken Coup, and have a large area to range on during the day.
