I bought this farm for my horses: Missy, Annie, Cadeaux and Thirty-One…so I named it FOR M A C T, after them. My tiny mini horse, Simon, was native to the farm, and his companions, Francis and Jasper, the miniature donkeys round out my equines. Raising chickens was a many-year dream of mine, and after much research, notebooks full of ideas and sketches, I had a farm for them to enjoy. I raise a Rhode Island Red and a cross of Rhode Island Red and Rhode Island White (ISA Brown) flock for eggs. Caring for and watching the chickens is an absolute joy. When I’m not in the field with the horses, or in the barn with the minis, or playing with the chickens, I’m in the garden planting, harvesting or pulling weeds.
I sell eggs, produce as it comes available from the garden, and pasture board horses. I’m always happy to give tours and welcome guests to my peaceful slice of Heaven in north east Linn County. Michelle
