Grasslands is a small homestead in the Tucson city limits on the East side. Our kids were raised here, along with all their 4H projects. We raised milk goats, swine, turkeys, chickens, and cattle. With half the kids gone, we are now down to a few cows and calves, and a very productive flock of chickens. The chickens are free-range and receive their feed from garden crops, insects, and any cattle hay that gets dropped on the ground. We are glad that people enjoy our eggs.
