Our Story
🌱 Why H&B Farm?
The name is a tribute to my roots — H for my mom’s maiden name, Hanburry, and B for my dad, Bangs. I grew up on a few hundred acres of “hobby farm,” where we raised animals, grew crops, and preserved food to last all year. That upbringing shaped my passion for local, sustainable farming.
🥚 What We’re Doing Now
Right now, I’m focused on raising healthy, happy chickens that produce protein-rich, nutrient-dense eggs. While we aren’t USDA-certified organic or pasture-raised, our hens are rotated weekly to fresh pasture, forage all day, and drink untreated well water. They’re also supplemented with organic, soy-free, corn-free, non-GMO feed. 🐔
🌾 Our Bigger Vision
We’re working toward a regenerative farm — adding cattle to our rotation to improve soil health and support our chickens’ natural behavior. Plans for the near future also include homegrown produce like blueberries, citrus, and honey. 🍋🍯
💚 At H&B Farm, it’s all about getting back to real food, raised the right way — with care, integrity, and sustainability at the heart.
