Hazelhaven Farm

Find a Farm

Our Story

Hazelhaven Farm started because two people got married, had kids, and got crazy enough to buy an old farm house and try to do farm things. We like trying to do things the old ways, being non-gmo and natural, and trying to restore not just the farm house, but also the farm property to something more than when we bought it. The best way to explain what we do is hobbysteading, that is neither homesteading or hobby farming, but something of both.

It has always been important to us to know where our food comes from. Because of this, we started raising our own flock so we could feed them exactly how we wanted to. Our birds are fed a mix of local, organic feed and locally milled, non-gmo feed. This is in addition to all of the greens, weeds, and kitchen scraps they love to devour. The things our birds eat absolutely affects the quality of the eggs they produce. We are proud to be able to offer such a high quality egg to those who hold similar values in our local community.
