Our Story
Mother and 14 year old son started raising chickens and cattle in 2014. The son, Andrew, went from 12 chickens to 2000 hens residing in 4 large mobile coops in 2019. Andrew planted his 1.3 acre blackberry field in 2016 and is just seeing the fruits of his labor. The mom, Shannon, now has a cow/calf operation of 25 cattle and slowly growing. She has finished converting 150 acre cornfield to native grasses which include 30 acres of pollinators. The dad, Mark, when not at work is support and constantly lending a hand to either his son or wife. We couldn’t do it without him.
