  • Our self-serve farm stand is available for your convince 6 days a week. We work to keep it stocked with fresh items and bouquets daily while seasonally appropriate. If you are interested in live trays of microgreens, we will have trays available on Mondays and Tuesdays year-round. We encourage pre-orders on trays and can arrange a different pick-up window for your pre-orders. We welcome you to text or call us for the fastest response.

Our Story

Hi Friends! We are Gary and Lauren Klouda and started Honest Desires Farm in 2012. We started as an urban farm and moved to our current farm in 2016 in Medina County, Ohio. We had a couple years of hiatus as we worked on our new homestead, but we are now bringing you wholesome, fresh, local foods and flowers.
Fresh-Cut-Flowers: Lauren has been growing flowers since she started gardening at our first homestead in 2008. After years of growing them and sharing them with family and friends, she realized how much joy flowers can bring, so she launched into making and selling seasonal bouquets. Cut flowers are available at the farm stand while seasonally appropriate. If you are looking for a bouquet and worried about availability please call or text and we would be happy to help you.
Microgreen Kits: We have created a Tiny Garden: DIY Microgreen Kit to help your family experience the fun of growing your own fresh, nutritious food. These kits contain everything you need to grow 4 types of microgreens right in your own home! There are full instructions, trays, organic soil, and certified organic seeds. These kits are available at our farm stand or can be ordered on our website. We can’t mail our kits, yet, but we can deliver within a certain area if you order 3 or more kits at a time. Please contact us for details. 
Live Microgreen Trays: A limited quantity of spicy and mild salad mix, pea, and sunflower microgreen trays are available at the farm stand every Monday and Tuesday. Most trays are ready to eat in 7 to 8 days. We encourage pre-orders by the Monday before you need your trays to ensure you get what you need.
Milk Kefir Grains: We have 1 TBSP of milk kefir grains available by request for $10.00. Please contact us to reserve your order.
Soaps: Our boys have been raised on the farm. They were inspired to start, Farm Kid Soap Company, in 2020. However, COVID got in the way and they launched their business this summer. It will be a fantastic learning experience for them. Their soaps are fun designs and scents. Visit our website to see what they have available.
Rabbit Meat: If you are interested in rabbit meat, please visit our website and sign up for our emails. We won’t spam you and will email you when we have meat available. This is a limited quantity item so don’t miss out!
Heirloom Produce: We do grow produce. We pick heirloom varieties that have been our favorites for years. We can’t compete with our Amish neighbors on price or volume so we try to grow what is unique. We don’t spray poisons on our food or soil. We care about snakes and pollinators that we see disappearing. We want our farm to be a safe place for wild birds and insects.
Creative: Lauren is available for creative projects, from setting up a website, to designing a logo, to creating labels for products. More information can be found on our website.
