The founding of La Scenic Chevre was the beginning of my journey to eat healthier, organic, locally sourced foods. I raise purebred Dwarf Nigerian goats for milk and goat milk products (cheese, soaps and lotions). My goats pasture on a naturally grown, irrigated field supplemented by grass/alfalfa hay in the winter months. In addition, I have a large flock of free range laying hens who happily graze my property eating bugs and soaked organic feed. I offer delicious, beautifully yellow yolked eggs for sale. In the late spring I often sell turkey poults hatched here from my heritage breed turkey flock.
