Our Story
Kyle wanted to start working on making his passion for farming into something that could be a possibility for where we live. Last year while running errands with our son Kyle brought home 10 chicks. Those 10 chicks grew to 160 chicks and started our little farm. Last year we raised the chickens just for ourselves, to learn how to produce a high quality chicken that has flavor. Our chicks come to us the day they are hatched and stay with us until they are processed. Once they are about 2-3 weeks old they are put outside in pens, to keep them safe from predators. While outside they scratch in the grass, look for bugs, and enjoy the sunshine. Their pens are moved daily, they are also supplemented with non-gmo locally sourced feed.
