Our Story

August 2014, I have always wanted to raise my own hens so I would have the best tasting eggs. One day I decided that was what I would do. Started with six 4 week old chicks and watch them grow into beautiful hens (pullets). Watched and waited for the day they would leave me eggs. On the first day they laid eggs, there were 11 eggs, I was so excited. Now, there are more each day. They are fed organic feed and treats. I have added 2 more hens but not ready to lay eggs. I plan to add more after winter….. April 2015, I now have 8 hens and they lay brown, tan, white & blue eggs. I have added 6 more pullets but they won’t lay eggs until September 2015.
