Our Story
Our family has farmed in wells county Indiana for going on now 5 generations. At Lone Oak Farm the mission is simple. Provide high quality naturally raised food free from additives or hormones or antibiotics. Our eggs are very high quality super high in protein and we often receive compliments on the egg quality. The hens are raised from day old chicks so we can control the feeding and health of our own hens. The hens are free ranged on pasture with a minimum of 108sqft of pasture space per hen to make their life comfortable and to allow them to forage naturally as they were built to do. Obviously in Indiana with winter pasture can be limited for them so they are also fed a high quality hay to make up that lack of green grass. Which they love and will spends hours scratching through amd eating their hay.
