Our hens are our are pets first! Started with a small flock of just 6 that has grown considerably, warning chickens are addictive. Many of our hens will enjoy a visit with you and allow you to pet them. We find ourselves with more eggs than we could ever use an have decided to offer them for sale to support the flock.

Our hens are free range, no cages and produce organic low cholesterol eggs.

If you’re wondering why the name “Long Ears” we rescued a miniature donkey named Hootie. Hootie is farm security  keeping our girls safe from predators; but very friendly to people. You can see photos of Hootie in our gallery.
