Our Story
We are a small backyard farm created out of necessity. Our oldest son has many food allergies including beef, pork, milk, and eggs, so getting him wholesome protein was difficult and I could not bear the thought of feeding him meat I wasn’t sure was raised or slaughtered humanely. We began raising chickens and turkeys, and have fallen in love with the process!
We are in the process of creating a “You Pick” style egg farm, where you can bring your children and collect your own eggs for the real farm experience!
We also offer a rooster buy-back program. Our chicks are straight run but if you find that you end up with more roosters than you can handle, you don’t need to worry about rehoming! We will buy them back from you! Cockerels must be at least six weeks old to guarantee gender, refund price is $4/cockerel.
