My love for the farm life was instilled at a young age. Growing up on my grandparents 43 acre farm was what I consider to be the greatest upbringing a gal could possibly ask for. Raising chickens, hogs, and beef cattle taught me so much at a young age. We processed our own livestock, grew our own fruits, veggies and herbs, canned everything we could, and hayed the fields to feed our homestead throughout the winter.
My grandparents have since both passed on, yet the fire inside my heart for the farm-life burns bright. You can take the girl out of the farm, but you can’t take the farm out of the girl.
I am currently growing my own little farmstead with hens and ducks, but will be branching out soon into goats and others as our farm sees fit.
