Our Story
Our hens are free-range (in the true sense of the words), our eggs are “Eggs with Local Color” as our town is made up of many colorful characters! Our ladies are only locked in their coops at night for their own protection. Our eggs are brown, white, and green/blue. Our ladies are spoiled and receive daily, mealworm treats, scratch grains, and oregano (for natural antibiotic purposes), in addition to their regular feeds. They are free to roam the pastures and woods with the horses all day long, going wherever they want.
We are family owned and operated. We sell eggs both off the farm and they can be found at the local Piggly Wiggly. We are licensed with the state of Illinois Department of Agriculture.
