Our Story
Hi! My name is Mark and welcome to Poppa’s Girls Farm. We are fairly new to the way of farm fresh eggs, but we have come to love the simplicity of raising our food. We have always enjoyed the small garden and raising vegetables and flowers for our table. Just the simple country life and we love it! A little over a year ago, we decided to get some hens and supply ourselves with farm fresh eggs. Have these girls ever changed our lives! I told my three grown children if I had tried chickens before they were born, we might not have had children. These girls are so much fun and so entertaining! We can literally sit for hours each evening and just watch them frolicking in the yard. And the eggs have been wonderful! We have plenty, so we decided to start selling them. First to just close friends, then at Farmer’s Markets, and now to anyone that enjoys the freshness of farm fresh eggs.
