Our Story
Quail Haven Urban Farm is a small backyard farm in East Fort Worth, Texas, specifically the Handley area which is a couple miles East of the Lancaster exit off 820. It was started because of my desire to help people become more self sufficient. Quail are a great alternative to chickens as a choice for backyard poultry. They are small, they don’t need a lot of space and are not very noisy. Quail Haven Urban Farm also produces quail eggs, herb and vegetable plants, vegetables, Kefir (a fermented milk drink, similar to yogurt), worm castings and rain barrels.
