I started with a few chickens to teach my grand-kids about our food chain and raising chickens. What started with just a few has now grown to about 100 and still growing.
We have several different kinds and they lay all kinds of different color eggs. Brown, white, blue, green and even a pink tint.
Chickens ( or the girls as we call them) are free range and spoiled daily!
We are now hatching Silkie chickens. If you’ve never held a Silkie baby chick before, you are missing out on one of the sweetest moments you’ll ever experience on a chicken farm. These chicks are half the size of standard chicks and impossibly fluffier!
Our eggs are sold by the dozen or dozen and a half.
1 dozen $3
18 count $4
When can I come pick up my eggs?
We are open most days from 8 a.m – 6 p.m. Please call ahead if you are in a hurry and we will have your requested eggs ready when you arrive. Please provide an estimated time and pull to the semi-circle drive, we will bring them to your car.
What form of payment do you accept?
Cash only please. We are small farm and do not accept checks or debit/credit cards.
I want to bring my kids to see the chickens. Do you allow visitors to your farm?
Absolutely! We welcome all well intentioned visitors to come see the chickens, spend a little time in the country and pick up fresh eggs to take home. If you time it before the girls go to their coop in the evenings, you and your little ones can help gather the eggs!
I live in the city, do you deliver?
We do not deliver to residents. However, we are able to bring our farm fresh eggs to Ridgeland, Madison, Brandon or Jackson on select days during the week. The charge for eggs are increased by .50 c per dozen, to help cover the cost of fuel. We believe it’s well worth it and you’ll absolutely love the flavor of farm fresh eggs. Please call the farm to reserve eggs for city pick-up. Mr. Bill, owner, will be glad to provide you the days of the week that eggs will be available in the tri-county area.
