Restoring Pastures

Find a Farm

Our Story

Our small farm is located in south Troup County, GA. We have a heart for treating our animals humanely, sustainable agriculture, and offering healthier food choices to our community. We have extensively studied Joel Salatin and others who practice regenerative agriculture, and our farming practices are primarily based on Joel’s ideas. We have chosen to not chemically treat the pasture with herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers. After our poultry leaves the brooder, they are moved daily to new grass.

We are happy to say that we are a Georgia Grown company. We support local food: not only growing our poultry locally, but in the raising of our poultry we try to support local small businesses and other local farmers as much as possible. The Bourbon Red heritage turkeys were hatched (mainly) and raised on our farm; we use a Georgia hatchery for our broiler chicks; the majority of our turkey feed is Georgia-sourced; and the processor is also in metro Atlanta.

Our current products include Bourbon Red heritage turkeys (non-GMO Project Verified feed), chicken (Certified Organic feed), and eggs (GMO-free, soy-free feed). Our poultry is processed in a USDA facility for small farmers, and frozen.

We are still developing our product offerings and would love to hear from you as to products that you would like for us to offer. Please contact us if you have any additional comments or questions that we may be able to help you with.
