Our Story
Our little farm started as a retreat from the world in which we were raised. Something about being so near Chicago and the crowded spaces, endless traffic and bad ideals sent us running, and here we landed on our little slice of heaven. In very short order we started raising our own flock, growing our own food and ethically sourcing our own meat, be it from the wild or raised here on the farm. We would love to share the fruits *and poultry* of our labor with like minded individuals who see the value in community and the commitment to doing things the way things should be done, with friends and family. We hope from these modest beginnings in the right direction that there is much more to come.
