Established in 1942, our third generation farm may be the oldest farm in our area. We specialize in a wide variety of laying hens as well as some rare breeds. We also keep and breed turkeys, pigeons, ducks, guineas, pheasants, quail, partridges, peafowl, and geese. The farm is also home to over 3 dozen rabbits, goats, sheep, and alpacas; also, our beloved pet emu named “Happy”. Because of our location in the country, we do not have many chicks or eggs available between September-March. Over the course of the next year, we will be working to establish breeding flocks of some very sought after breeds of chickens that may include, but are not limited to: Sebrights, Orpingtons, and Sussex. Tours of the farm are welcome! It is a great learning experience for not only kids, but the parents too!
