Our Story

We took over Shady Hill Farms in early 2022. Since then, we have begun transitioning from Charolais cattle to black Angus, raising laying chickens and Nigerian dwarf goats. We are applying regenerative practices to improve our soil and pasture quality. Our laying hens are free range in pastures and are only confined at night to reduce predation. We do supplement with laying pellets and chicken scratch. In 2023 we plan to have goats available for purchase and hope to also offer beef sales. Freedom ranger meat chickens will arrive this spring and be available in early summer. We are happy to have you visit our farm and discuss our animal and regenerative agriculture.
