Silver Pastures Permaculture is passionate about regenerative agriculture. We believe that growing food consciously can heal the Earth while nourishing our community and benefiting our plants and animals. Regenerative, rotationally-grazed, corn-free and soy-free eggs are our signature product.
Our pasture-raised hens are free to forage as nature intended, seeking insects and grubs, seeds and grasses, worms and weeds. We rotationally graze our hens in a mobile coop, allowing them to forage fresh pasture, while safely roosting each night. In addition to producing eggs superior in flavor and nutrition, our happy hens manure and scratch the ground, regenerating the soil, sequestering carbon and increasing rain water infiltration.
To supplement their forage, we provide organic corn-free, soy-free feed. Corn-free, soy-free feed is more digestible and healthier for the hens, as well as healthier for humans. In addition to being safe for people who suffer from soy or corn allergies, eggs from corn-free, soy-free hens have a more complete nutritional profile, including healthier Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acid ratios than conventional or organic corn and soy-fed eggs.
