Our Story
We purchased Soul Healing Farm in late 2019, getting away from the hectic pace of urban life, and building our dream of a small diversified farming operation. Our growing flock includes brown-egg layers and Easter Eggers, along with ducks and a drake, and we are pleased to offer our free-range chicken and duck eggs to local families. We established two honey bee colonies this year, and look forward to providing healthy, delicious local honey toward the end of the 2020 season. Other 2020 plans include establishing a herd of Nubian goats, starting our fruit and nut orchards, and finding a product niche to fill. Some fields are ready for organic crops, while others need our stewardship to reach organic standards.
