Stierwalt Family Farm was started by husband and wife, Derek and Madeline Stierwalt, as an addition to the family’s grain farming operation and small beef herd. Madeline and Derek have strong ties to agriculture and wanted to provide a source of fresh, free range eggs to their community. Both grew up on farms with chickens and various other animals. Madeline has a Master’s degree in animal science from the University of Illinois and they both value the ideals of regenerative agriculture. They cherish the opportunity raise their children with an appreciation and respect for agriculture as well. They primarily offer fresh, free range eggs but sell grass fed beef when available.
