Our Story

Hello! My name is Meghann and I am a local veterinarian. Since I was a child, my family has always raised chickens. My love of poultry has continued into adulthood and I now have a small, diverse flock of laying hens. Breeds include turkens, ameraucanas, marans (cuckoo, french black copper), cream legbars, blue laced wyandottes, brahmas (buff, light), Whiting true blue and true green. This makes for colorful eggs – brown (light and dark), blue, and green.

I do not use antibiotic or medicated feed. They have a very large fenced in area they are out in during the day, but they usually fly over the fence and roam the yard. At night they are locked in their spacious coop for their protection.
